How can I get a refund for an unintended subscription charge from Apple?
I was charged $99.99 by Apple on May 2nd for the Imprint app. I had signed up for a 3- or 7-day free trial but didn’t need the subscription and unfortunately forgot to cancel it in time due to being busy. As soon as I noticed the charge, I canceled the subscription immediately.
I submitted a refund request, but it was unsuccessful. When I first contacted Apple Support, I was advised to reach out to the app developer, Imprint. They expressed willingness to help but informed me that all transactions are handled by Apple.
When I called Apple Support a second time, the supervisor I spoke with was unable to offer any help beyond stating company policy. Unfortunately, the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Why don’t they do a refund after i explained to them the situation?
