How to Keep Drawings/Text Collapsed with a Subheading in Notes?

Hello everyone,

I’ve noticed something in the Notes app and I’m wondering if I’m missing a step.

When I create a subheading and then write or draw underneath it, the content doesn’t collapse with the subheading when I fold it. It stays visible, as if it’s not actually part of that section.

The only workaround I’ve found is to first type something under the subheading, then paste the drawing or text after that. That way, the content does fold together with the subheading.

Is there an easier or more straightforward way to make sure everything under a subheading collapses properly?

Thanks in advance!

I figured it out! You need to tap once inside the subheading to bring up the small menu (the one where you can copy/paste). From there, select “Add Drawing”. That creates a drawing space directly within the subheading section — so anything you write or draw will now properly collapse along with it.

Hope this helps someone else too!
