Is there a list of Apple MFI certified 3rd party vendors or products?

Have tried to buy several 3rd party charging cables (Anker,Belkin) because Apple refuses to make a 10 ft cable. And yes, I need 10 ft usb-c to usb-c cables. All of them make the annoying battery chime as soon as they are plugged in to my Ipad Pro. They all advertise that they are Apple MFI certified, yet this issue keeps reoccurring. So now I’m here inquiring about a list for authorized vendors/products. When switching back to the Apple cable, the noise does not manifest. All cables will charge fine. Feels like I’m getting jerked around here because someone is a) being untruthful or misleading with their advertising or b) products that should be made to a spec aren’t or c) Apple is doing this as a means to drive sales of their own products without stating outright that such is the case.

So back to the first question, is there a list of approved 3rd party vendors whose cables will work with Apple products (specifically Ipad Pro) without the annoying charge sound occurring?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 18

Short answer: Yes, there is a list of licensed Mfi accessories: https://mfi.apple.com/account/accessory-search

As far as cable length, AFAIK 2m (~6.6') is the maximum effective length for a USB-C charging cable. Mfi-licensed or not. As I'm sure you are aware, as cable length increases, the risk of voltage drop and reduced charging efficiency also rises.

Fair enough ... but finding a 10' USB-C charging cable that will work may not be an easy task, especially if you have a "do not exceed" price ceiling. You may have to reconsider that distance requirement, or make concessions.

AFAIK, no one has published a list of USB-C cables, greater than 2m, that would not cause any issues, nor would I expect someone could guarantee that. As always, be wary of marketing claims. Just cause Apple sells non-Apple products does not necessarily mean that they test them for compatibility ... or for anything else. In fact, if you have an issue with a non-Apple product, Apple will refer you to seek support from its manufacturer.

To be honest, I have had nothing by good experiences with Anker products; however, I had never had a need to run a 10' USB-C cable. Regardless, when I suspect a cable, I have a number of cable testers that help me pinpoint any issues with them. I'm sorry, you had to "try out" a number of cables first hand to find out yourself.

I don’t see any cables, just product numbers, and neither belkin nor anker are listed. Yet, both brands products are listed directly in Apple’s own store. Just not the ones I’m looking for. I did find this https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MW5H3AM/A/thunderbolt-4-usb%E2%80%91c-pro-cable-3-m?fnode=5b5ac276e8b4ff9d113fe6a0a5080aebea950522ed18b2ea2e9db01e5d411aed1136782334e8e72bd4f6950d7e9fe60b2e19eeaf65e75fc6ce4073f6d99757bb37f25bcf0e4c36467daabf58347fcdc7f727395c5dce4bb4d66a13f0f18deb4037d489b8cb26829ba91e6210c838529b

which at $160, is well over what I’m willing to part with for a piece of wire.
