Is there a way to "lock" a note to prevent editing?

Notes: Prevent Unintentnional Edits

I have a fairly long Note that I frequently reference. I typically return to the note only to reference information with no intention of editing the note. However, I find myself unintentionally editing the note - often without being aware I made an edit.

Is there a way to "lock" a Note to prevent editing? I still want to be able to view the Note, so the Passcode-Lock feature isn't a solution.

Thanks!

I don’t think so, though I clearly see the potential for such a feature.

As a workaround, you could take a series of screenshots and add them to a second note. Reserve the first note for any intentional edits you might want to make and use the second version (the one with screenshots) for regular reference.
