How do I transfer songs from iPhone 8 to SD card?

I lost 300+ songs from my itunes when I synced my iphone 15 pro to a new desktop itunes.

Desktop and laptop windows 11.

Songs from CD,s and all my playlists.

Lost them on my laptop as well since synced account.

Freaked me out!

I have a iphone 8 that has all of my library with playlists, it is disconnected from my iTunes account, not one of the "5 devices" so to speak.

I want to download all of my music to a sd card, then take the sd card and load to my desktop.

Is this possible, and how to do this?

I don't have the CD's anymore, am afraid of hooking up my phone to the desktop.

If you are talking about manual syncing of music imported from CDs, that is one-way. From the computer to the iPhone/iPad/iPod. The synchronization deletes any music currently on the iPhone/iPad/iPod that isn't also on the computer, and part of the new selection.

So if you synchronize your iPhone 8 to a desktop that has no music in its library, you will wipe out all of the music currently on the iPhone 8 – and the desktop computer will still have no music in its library.

You don't. Transferring songs is a one way street, you can copy them to the phone but not the other way around. This is done for copyright purposes.

You should always keep them on your computer for just such reasons.

No as already explained, transferring songs is a one way street, you can copy them to the phone but not the other way around. This is done for copyright purposes.

media sync is one way. Syncing your phone with a new library will remove the existing music from the phone. It will not remove the music from the library on the computer.

If you do not own the original CDs any more, you do NOT own the music.

No.

As I already stated, if the music is no longer in the music library on your computer and you no longer possess the original media, you don't own the music any more.
