itvx on safari or brave on iPhone 12 Pro cast via airplay to apple tv 4k 3rd gen only playing audio. Video is quite slow to start showing on iPhone as well.
bbc iplayer works perfectly with same setup as above in another tab, as does any other tab playing video media
seems itvx non performance is root cause but keen to hear any other experience, cheers

sites and apps can choose to block airplay as it strips their content of it's hdcp drm protection
the behavior with only audio is what others have reported when it's blocked, suppose only way you can be sure is to contact them and ask
How is it possible to determine if it is indeed itvx blocking airplay vs another issue OR is it that audio is casting but video is not indicates they are blocking airplay ?
note that itvx help seems to indicate support for airplay
