Yellow screen of death iPhone 13 Pro

I have an iPhone 13 Pro which was purchased 3.5 years ago and all of a sudden a yellow screen appears and now I cannot use the phone. I took it to the local Apple authorised repair shop and told me that the screen needs replacement which will cost €400. I phoned directly to Apple and told me that it is the first time they heard about this problem which is nonsense because the internet is full of comments that this problem happened a lot, and therefore I was left with no help at all. This is so not fair that I have to pay for a screen issue that comes directly from Apple not because I have made something from my end.

Is there someone out there that the same issue happened and managed to fix it? Will you please advise how you managed? Thank you and appreciate your comments.

Hardware failure is a fact of owning devices, no matter who manufactures it. Your iPhone is out of warranty; it is almost 4 years old. The warranty on an iPhone in most cases is one year. If you would have purchased AppleCare, it would have probably helped.

There is nothing to do here, short of getting the screen replaced or buying a new phone.
