There is no new version of the iPhone 7.

Apple released the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in September 2016, and discontinued them in September 2019 (in the U.S.). There are no other iPhone 7 models. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus originally ran iOS 10, and you can update them to the latest release of iOS 15 – but that's as far as you can go. You cannot update either to iOS 16 or higher.

If you are saying that you need an iPhone that is newer than the iPhone 7, see:

Refurbished iPhone Deals - Apple

Apple currently sells

  • New iPhone 16-series phones
  • New iPhone 15 and 15 Plus phones
  • Certified Refurbished 14- and 15-series phones (on a "catch of the day" basis, with no guarantee as to if or when any particular model or configuration will be in stock)

All of these can run iOS 18, although only the 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and 16-series phones support Apple Intelligence.

An iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, or iPhone SE 1 isn't capable of 16 or above; they require an A11 or better CPU. To install 15.8.4, use a computer or the Software Update function in Settings.

If you're referring to an application and there's a newer vestion compatible with 15.8.4, install it from the App Store.

If you're referring to the iPhone itself, buy a newer one normally.
