I finally got a hold of Uconnect. I was told by Uconnect that they have no way to connect.
In a nutshell iphone surpassed their technology. I'll be looking for a bluetooth adapter...may not look pretty but I'll have tunes! I don't think wearing my earpods is very safe while driving.
