Screen Grab (Shift+Command+4) Not working right/hanging?

So I'm not sure if it's due to an update at all but whenever I used the screen grab/shot quick function (Shift+Command+4) It seems to hang when trying to close? does anyone know why this is as it never used to do it before but has just started the past week?
