Emoji search not fully working on instagram

I believe I’ve encountered an issue while attempting to post a story on Instagram. I’m trying to use the pinch emoji (🤏🏻), but when I search for it, there are no results displayed. However, when I search for it in WhatsApp, it shows up. This issue doesn’t occur on my Android phone.

Uncategorised WhatsApp emojis and missing favourites on iPhone SE 2nd gen running iOS 18.6 I bought an iPhone SE 2nd generation running iOS 18.6 and the WhatsApp emojis are not categorised. Also my favourite emojis for WhatsApp don't display. I have done both a soft and hard restart on the phone, but still the emojis are uncategorised. And my favourites don't display. I have also toggled Stickers under keyboard off and on, deleted and added a new emoji keyboard, but still no categorisation or favourites. This is rather frustrating and annoying. Hello!

In the first screenshot, the keyboard you’re using is not in English. That’s your problem, I would guess. Make sure it’s in English, and try again.
