How can I extend Auto-Lock or password timeout on iPhone?

I want to increase the time before l have to unlock phone again

You can go to Settings > Display and Brightness > Auto-Lock > Set to a longer option, between 2, 5, 10, 15 min. But I would advise against selecting “Never” as your iPhone will always be on, which will drain a lot of unnecessary battery but also leave your iPhone open for anyone which can be a security vulnerability.
