Why do my Apple devices randomly disconnect from Wi-Fi but Apple TV stays connected?

Can you describe your Wi-Fi network? Does it have one access point (device with antennas), or are there bridging routers, extenders, or even a mesh setup? What are the typical distances to the access point(s)? Could it be that the network is trying to cover an area that is too large, and/or has obstructions (walls with steel, etc.), and/or has too many floors?

Or there could be an interfering neighboring network that is unfortunately operating on the same (or close to it) frequency [Wi‑Fi channel]. There are Wi-Fi diagnostic apps that can tell you which other networks are nearby and have some strength, and which channel (frequency) they use. Then you can find a free (unused) section on the band to set a channel for your Wi-Fi network, for each of the bands that it uses (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and perhaps even 6 GHz for modern ones).

The devices should connect easily if the Wi-Fi signal is solid (strong) and without interference. Your issue will be in the network. Any Wi-Fi network should be able to handle connecting 4 devices.

What could be blocking it is hard to tell without being there. If your second network is working "just fine" I would keep using that connection and carry on. Any reason why you can't continue using it?

Excellent. Keep using what works now and when the time comes to reset your entire network you may find you have eliminated the problem.
