iPhone 6s on IOS 10 stuck on Apple logo after couple years off

I have this iPhone 6s running iOS 10 which is what makes it special, but a little over two years ago I removed its battery cz it was swollen, so today I put a new one in but now is stuck on the Apple logo, I know restarting it and updating it will fix it but turns out I want to keep it on iOS 10. Am I asking for an impossible solution? HELP!

There is no solution anyone here can offer you. You tampered with the phone and there's no telling what you may have messed up. iPhone 6s was NEVER designed to be opened by users, much less for someone not trained to replace parts. Plus wherever you got a battery from, couldn't sell you an authentic Apple Battery. Apple won't touch your phone and it's no longer supported anyway. Your phone is ready for the recycle bin.
