Unresponsive iPhone 16 touchscreen even after rebooting

I have a brand new iPhone 16. Touchscreen is not very responsive. I’ve tried rebooting Ting. Are there any other solutions?

Try a Forced Restart.

  • Press and quickly release Volume Up Button
  • Press and quickly release Volume Down Button
  • Press and hold Side Button until you see the Apple Logo

Be sure to perform the entire sequence quickly and ignore the Power Off slider that appears which can take up to 30 seconds.

If that doesn’t do it, this would indicate a hardware failure and I would suggest you return the iPhone to wherever you purchased it for an exchange. From Apple you have 14 days. It’s possible the screen digitizer may have a defect which registers touch.
