How do I resolve persistent RO-ALERT notifications on iPhone in Romania?

So, tonight in my area inside Romania it had been issued an RO Alert emergency call. The phone went nuts @11 pm last night. Around midnight I have set the phone to enter airplane mode so I don’t get text or alerts overnight. The problem is that this morning when it went off the airplane mode the phone went nuts again, so I set manually airplane mode again and disable it, what I got?! Another Ro Alert notification.

The Phone got stuck with RO ALERT notification FOREVER.

I know, I can disable it from settings. But it’s a security feature very handy in my country, I want to be able to use it properly, the law requires the feature to exist and work on any device sold in Romania. Please check the issue Apple, thank you!

Hello!

Apple is not here. We are users like you. Reach out to the agency responsible for issuing the Emergency Alert, and report the problem to them.

Some troubleshooting you can try, to make sure there’s nothing wrong on your end:

Go to: Settings > Notifications > Scroll to the Bottom > Turn off ALL government alerts. Now turn off Airplane mode. Next, force restart your iPhone. Once you’ve done that, enable the Government Alerts again.

Does the issue persists? If so, you’ll want to report the problems to the proper agency as mentioned previously.
