How do I recover my forgotten passcode for iPhone 6 Plus?

Passcode is the most basic and fundamental building block of Apple’s mobile device security.

It’s either correctly entered on the device …

… or the device and it’s onboard data are forever inaccessible. There are no “workarounds.”

HOWEVER, you DO have a not-too-painful way-forward which should — in most instances — restore continued use of the device AND recovery of your data from your most-recent Automatic iCloud Backup:

If you forgot your iPhone passcode or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

Then you'll have to connect your iPhone to a computer and erase then restore it. Hopefully you had a backup of your iPhone beforehand which you can use to restore, otherwise your data will be lost in the process.
