Why my iPhone 15 Pro Max keeps disconnecting from Apple CarPlay?

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and when I tell you I am starting to hate this disconnect from Apple Carplay and reconnect. I done change the cords out and update my Land Rover system. I called customer service to see if they can help out. Ever since Apple switch from the lighting cord to C cord I have been going through this. I know they have to follow the rule but omg Apple needs to walk this back because this here is not it. I had every iPhone that has came out and this here is not cutting it.

See this support document for troubleshooting CarPlay. If you need help with CarPlay - Apple Support

Have you updated your iPhone to iOS 18.5? Another thing is to remove the iPhone from the vehicle in Bluetooth settings. Then go to the Settings on the iPhone and make sure the vehicle is removed from CarPlay and from Bluetooth on the phone. Then go through pairing the device again. When you change the cord, make sure that you are using a cable that will handled charging and data both, not just charging.

In addition to the good advice ChrisJ4203 offered, if you use a VPN on your iPhone, it often causes connectivity issues, which can include CarPlay. Unless you are required by your employer or school to use a VPN to access their servers, VPN is just not needed on iPhone.

I have no issues with CarPlay ever disconnecting, either wired or wireless. And that included iPhone 15 Pro Max and now my 16 Pro Max.
