iPhone camera and Home Screen flashlight issues after iOS 18.5 update

Hi, I currently have the iPhone 14 and when they did 18.0 upgrade my camera broke and the flashlight on the home screen wouldn’t work than 18.1 didn’t fix it. Then went to 18.2 same problems. Ended up rebuilding my phone and got it to work until they did 18.3 came out. I said heck with it waited till 18.4 and it fixed everything and then now 18.5 broke my camera and flashlight on the home screen AGAIN and the dreaded rainbow pictures when it does take a picture.

I’ve been a loyal Apple phone user since the very beginning and never had problems until they came out with 18.X. Now I have to carry two phones just so I can take some **** pictures. It’s getting old!

First off you say the camera and the flashlight broke, and you decided not to get it fixed. First no no. Then you said you ended up "rebuilding your phone" and got it to work until the next update. Tampering with your iPhone is another no no. By the way updates can re-calibrate parts and detect issues and if so, disable them. Unfortunately you had a chance to get the iPhone serviced after the first update, but since you decided to tamper with your iPhone and void any service or warranty, Apple will no longer service it. That's also likely why the damage was further exacerbated, because you tampered with it, not the update.
