Unable to sign into Virgin Media account on iPhone

I am having an issue signing into my Virgin Media account on my iPhone. It works perfectly fine on my iPad and on other devices but will not work at all on my iPhone. Have contacted Virgin support but they’re saying it is an issue with my mobile.

Thank you. The photo that is from your iPad, the one with the color in it that appears that you are signed in, is that in the app or Safari? As far as the Virgin app is concerned, they are responsible for their app working on your devices. They would have to troubleshoot that error. I also see that you have Sleep Focus on, not that I believe that would matter, but it is something to look at. Sleep Focus can keep some things from working. Virgin should be able to help you with logging into their site on a browser.

What kind of error are you seeing when you attempt to sign in on the iPhone? What type of account is this that you are attempting to sign in for? Is this an app, or are you attempting to sign into something in Settings?


In looking this up, they have several apps to manage your broadband, media and other things. Is this to log into your wi-fi on the iPhone?

Okay, the images that you sent are overlapped. I'm guessing that you are using your Safari browser to log into this website. I cannot see what the problem is for the iPhone? Are you using an app or browser, just to make sure. Virgin is telling you that it is an Apple issue? Until I can see what it happening on the iPhone, I can't really tell. Answer a couple of questions please. Do you have a VPN installed on your device, even if you have it turned off? I need to see any messages you are seeing on the iPhone.

I’ve downloaded the Virgin media app and have been trying to sign into the website. I have just purchased my first broadband so trying to login to my account to view the tracking and my account details. On my iPhone it just loads consistently with no progress but on my iPad it’s straight in.

Yeah my bad, I’ll re post the image from my iPhone. I’m trying to sign in via safari, the google app and the virgin app and having the same issue with all of them. No VPN installed at all and have also reset my iPhone back to original settings today. It is not saying an apple error but as I’ve spoken with support and they can’t find an issue their side I’m just a little stuck on what to do. Below is the loading screen whilst waiting for my account to sign in but this can go on for up to 2+ hours without any progress

Yeah the colour is through my IPad safari. Still no better today have tried taking sleep mode off to see if that makes a difference but doesnt look like it has. I’m just unsure if it is an apple error or something to with my account but as I’m able to sign in via other devices it’s leaving me puzzled. The broadband should be arriving today so maybe will try again later once it is all set up but have been on a Wi-Fi connection at my parents and still doesn’t seem to work.
