Seems the App Store's "Word" app for iPhone has had a lot of updates recently:

Seems the App Store's Mac "Word" app (Version16.97.2) has also had updates and it says "requires a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription. Microsoft 365 includes premium Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps,..."
