No option of sharing music to WhatsApp status in my iPhone 16 Plus

I am using iPhone 16 plus and still don’t have the sharing music on WhatsApp status. I saw somewhere it depends on the device model. Please assist.

Previous to getting this new phone I updated to IOS 17 on my 14 pro max and it had the little SharePlay icon. I made sure my new phone was updated on both the phone and CarPlay. Apple Music Playlist not showing edited music After updating to iOS 18 my phone, which has content restrictions turned on, would show playlist with the explicit versions of music. This was not normal as when contact restrictions is on the edited version of a song should show in the playlist of available. For instance, Hip Hop workout playlist from Apple Music will show edited versions of available songs and allow you to save the playlist with any songs that only have explicit versions grayed out. After iOS 18 upgrade these playlist would show up on my phone with every song greyed out. This was only happening on my phone. If I looked at the playlist on my Mac, it would still show the edited versions as part of the playlist. [Edited by Moderator]

In a supported country, the music option should appear when you update your status. Look for the music symbol at the top of the status changer screen in the Updates tab.
