How to stop emojis sending as stickers?

I have 1 emoji that keeps sending as a sticker. It’s so frustrating! It sends as one big sticker without any context. It’s only one emoji that does it (it appears ever so slightly bigger than the other emojis) and it only happens on Snapchat for some bizarre reason. I have deleted to emoji keyboard and re-added it, the stickers appears again. I have also toggled off “send stickers from emoji keyboard” and it’s still there! Any ideas because I’m sick of seeing this face 😫 as a big sticker 😂
