I am a member of a four-member group on Messages. All of the messages within that group have disappeared from my iphone and the iphones of two of the other members. The messages still show up on the iphone of the fourth member of the group. How can she save all of those messages so that the rest of us can access them?

Those who lost the message thread can check the deleted folders if not there, then you guys will need to restore from your icloud backup, if you don't have one then you won't be able to recover the message on your devices.
If you guys want a pdf copy of the message thread said person who has the message would need to purchase touchcopy or imazing to export the data from phone to computer, then she can email you the pdf.

This is very helpful, razmee209. I already checked my deleted folder and there is nothing in there. I am going to try a restore from iCloud. I wish I could understand what it was that happened. The member who still has all of the messages has her iCloud for messages turned off. The others of us back up to iCloud. Such a mystery!
