Well, Apple and iPhone users got by just fine for 14+ years without using Charge Limits, so if Charge Limits were all that important, surely Apple would have offered this simple option for all phones in a regular software update.
My opinion.....Charge Limits are more of a gimmick than anything else. They were introduced to give users the impression that they could actually control the performance of the battery in the iPhone.
As you know.....even if you decide to use Charge Limits, the battery is still going to charge to 100% anyway. How often that will occur cannot be predicted. When I tried Charge Limits, I found that the phone charged to 100% about 3 times a month. Some users report that their battery charges even more often and and some report less.
If you decide to try Charge Limits, you will have to charge the battery more often. Seems that no one is mentioning that this can result in more wear and tear on the battery.
