Hi everyone,
I’m using a 14-inch MacBook Pro (Apple M3, 16 GB RAM, macOS Sequoia 15.5) – purchased in November 2023. I’ve been using this Mac for about 1.5 years without any major issues — until recently.
For the past week• , whenever I leave the computer and it goes to sleep, everything seems normal. But when I return and try to wake it (by pressing a key or moving the mouse), the login screen appears — and then the system completely freezes:
Mouse cursor is stuck
• Keyboard doesn’t respond
• No interaction is possible
The only way to recover is by holding the power button and force restarting.
I don’t want to use Safe Boot or any workarounds — I just want the Mac to resume normally from sleep like it always used to.
Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know a fix?
Thanks in advance!
