iPad not charging at home, but will charge elsewhere. Help!!

My iPad says “not charging” when plugged into any outlet at my apartment but will charge with no issue at work or really anywhere else. Obviously the issue is my outlets but does anyone know if I could solve this issue by maybe using a power strip or something similar?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 16

Some wall-wart type Power Adapters can be too heavy for its AC "prongs" to be securely held by the electrical contacts of a worn/defective wall power-outlet.

While you would be well advised to have an electrician change any worn or old AC power outlets, as a temporary solution, you may find that using a power strip may alleviate connection issues for your Power Adapter. The plug of the power strip may be more stable in the wall outlet than the potentially heavier Power Adapter.

Poor connection to wall (or other) power outlets are a safety concern. Poor connections can overheat or spark - and may lead to an otherwise avoidable fire.
