How do I downgrade from iOS 26?

Sounds like you are using a VPN. If that is the case, remove it and your problem will be solved. Note that simply shutting it off will likely not work as a VPN still interferes with your network connection.

If you are not using a VPN and see this when accessing Mail, then try turning off Protect Mail Activity at Settings > Apps > Mail > Privacy Protection, and see if that makes a difference.

If that were true Apple would be going out of business. But the almost two billion users in the world seem to disagree with you.

You are NOT able to remove IOS 26 if you were on automatic updgrade . None of their qualified Apple support are able to help us because they cant! Bottom line you need to trade all of your devices for pennies on the dollar to buy a new one!!! We are all stuck with the color background on contacts. No white background available anymore either!

Anything you buy new from Apple will have the latest versions of the operating system.

What I learned is before any updates I need come here to see what the Apple community is saying and go to Google to see the feedback, which in this case is extremely bad....

If you are change-averse, that's a good plan. Not, I suspect, that it will make any difference in how you look at things, but online commenters are generally the unhappy people, whether or not they represent the majority of people who use the product. People who like things are too busy using their devices and living their lives to take the trouble to post things like, "Updated. All good. Bye."

I am really not happy. I’ve been extremely loyal to this company since I was eight years old and I am 24 now. They lost me. I can’t keep doing these updates, and this one feels like a slap in the face. Looking to other companies for my next phone :( which makes me sad tbh

It's unfortunate that you're unhappy. I think it's important to warn you that this isn't the last time in your life that technology will evolve and change in ways you don't like. Life is too short to let it dictate your happiness or lack thereof. Cultivate resilience and flexibility now. It will serve you well for the rest of your life.

Be warned: there are comments in other threads on this forum saying that Android is also moving to make their interface have an appearance similar to that of "Liquid Glass".

You might just be trading one type of glass for another …

Correct! It is called Android 16 and currently Samsung is rolling it out to their phones under their own label of UI 8. Yes, it is the same blur and transparency that is seen in Liquid Glass. They are even marketing it like this:

• With a sense of dimension created through soft blurring and a sense of cohesion from seamlessly blended components

And of course you should be able to recognize that blur and transparency look.

I tried to downgrade But my iMac is too old.. is there any other way to downgrade??
