After 18.5 update on my iPhone SE, the call forwarding option would not load

The toggle switch for call forwarding would not show on or off. Just got a spinning wheel. Consequently, none of the T-Mobile codes related to call forwarding would work. I received an error message for all the codes. I contacted Apple, Case ID: 102615*****. Contacted T-Moblle, ticket # 8833****. Went back and forth, each blaming the other. I was convinced the issue was with Apple because it occurred after the update. I spoke on the telephone with 2 different Senior Apple advisors. Both screen shared with my phone. While talking to the second Senior Advisor yesterday, he informed me he looked at his personal phone and call forwarding was spinning as well. He stated it was no big deal and informed me there was nothing more Apple could do. I went to YouTube today and discovered the article "How to Fix Call Forwarding Not Working on iPhone | Calls Not Forwarding After iOS 18 Update". I couldn't believe how easy the fix was: Settings - Cellular - Network Selection - Toggle the Automatic switch off and back on. After performing the fix, call forwarding showed the grey button. All the T-Mobile codes work fine.
