How does a Mac Studio with 32GB or 96GB edit pictures or videos?

How good will a Mac Studio with 32gb or 96 gb edit pictures or video? Have a friend looking for a new computer who is running Windows now and I suggested going to a Mac Studio. He did switch to an iPhone. I went to an Apple store and they said they should be okay. Anyone here use a Mac studio to edit video and pictures? He doesn't want to spend the money for a Mac Pro.

Thanks

He'll have to provide more information before he can get meaningful assistance. Depending on what sort of photo and (especially) video editing he plans to do and what his input and output needs are, anything from a Mac mini to a Mac Studio might be the right recommendation, or even an iMac.

I would steer him away from any 32GB model if he is thinking in the Studio range. If it is enough today, it probably won't be in a couple of years.

I can't agree more. I don't really do video, but if I did much with long movies I would get as much memory and internal disk storage as possible. No one has ever been known to moan, "Oh, I wish I'd gotten less memory."
