It appears from your screenshot you're in the Photos App. Did you follow what I posted above exactly?
lobsterghost1's, it's actually in Settings with the route you provided. But apps will only show up if they explicitly request access. Perhaps the original poster should give a go with deleting and re-installing the apps so it will ask again when they open it if they want to grant access to whatever it is. Also make sure Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > Set Allow to Microphone and Photos.

Zachyy, since Instagram was specifically mentioned, I already knew the path I suggested was the correct path to grant access to their photos. I use Instagram. I tried to make is as simple as possible for them, without a lot of words, which might cause confustion. Your suggestion to check Screen Time as well is a good one.

so this is due to the update and just have to wait it out? If so I understand and will be patient but if there’s anyway to fix it now I’d appreciate finding out how but thank you to all for trying to help I really appreciate it!

There shouldn't be an issue with iOS 18.5. I'm on iOS 18.5. But your settings screen, even if I use dark mode, doesn't look like my settings. The icons are different, hence why you were asked if you updated to the Beta release of iOS 26?

I agree that your path was correct, but it appeared not to be the Photos app but Photos privacy and security settings.

OK. You had lost me, but I see what you're saying. I get confused when dark mode is used on someone's phone. And if that is where they are, I also see that Instagram for example doesn't appear there. To be honest, I have no clue why. It's certainly there on my phone.
