My mac mini is not working with micro soft wireless keyboardand mouse

The key board and mouse are the MS Wireless Comfort Keyboard 5050 they are blue tooth compatuble and connect with a dongle

Does the keyboard and mouse simply not work?

Do they have erratically?

What exactly is the issue?
