Hard to say, exactly. Historically, many iPhones have gotten five major iOS updates. A few have gotten less, and a few have gotten more. (The 11-series phones already have gotten five updates, and when iOS 26 comes out, they will have gotten six. The 6 and 6 Plus got four.).
The iPhone 15 originally ran iOS 17 when it shipped in September 2023. The successor to iOS 18 s iOS 26 (change to a "model year" type numbering scheme), so the five major versions after iOS 17 would be:
