I don’t have a “reset Face ID” option in settings. Why not and what should I do?

Original Title: my Face ID stopped working. The Apple document says to go to Face ID in settings and press

If you go to Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > Scroll down and are Changes to Passcode and Face ID Allowed? If not, set it to Allow.
