How do I fix a water-damaged iPhone charging port?

recently, I had an incident where I got a little water in the charging port what do I do? I tried everything that it said online I shook it for at least four minutes then I left it in a cool room and still gave me the notification.

Shaking it for four minutes isn't enough, it can take several hours or even up to 24 hours to dry out the charging port. Leave your iPhone upright with the charging port facing down to let any excess water slowly drain out, in a dry area with some airflow.


If that still doesn't do it, your charging port has likely been water-damaged. Apple never repaired charging ports or begin with, and they definitely won't now with water damage. So you'll likely need to purchase a new iPhone.
