I am having my Air pods pro replaced. Can I keep my original case as it is engraved with my phone number & return the new one with the old air pods?

Unlikely. When you have a product replaced Apple takes everything including the case, charger, everything. And If this is a warranty replacement, you will be given a warranty unit which comes in a plain white box with a default product.
I had my Apple Watch Ultra 2 replaced under warranty a few months ago, the screen had a defect and they took it including the charger.
Can I keep my engraved AirPods Pro case during replacement?
