I have an iPhone 15 plus. The last update iOS 18.5 caused my
phone to stop charging. I have had to turn the phone off then plug it in. It then restarts and charges. It’s super annoying as it was caused by the last update. Apple seems to have ignored the issue. What’s a quick fix?

First try using a different charger, adapter, and outlet to rule out those possibilities. Then try cleaning your Charging Port out with a clean and dry toothbrush or a thin toothpick. The Charging Port on iPhone is pretty durable and a lot of times when it doesn’t charge, it’s merely because some lint and debris have accumulated in the charging port overtime, whether from the iPhone being in your pocket or elsewhere.
