My Apple Watch won't open web links from iMessage anymore

I have sent myself iMessage texts with web links and I used to be able to open these on my watch. Now when I click I get the website name and a blue loading line but when that blue line is completed no website shows. It flashes up momentarily when I click to close the black screen. I’ve tested the same on another family members watch and theirs opens the links with no hassle….help !
