How can I identify the exact model of my old iPhone case?

I have an iPhone case from one of my old phones. I had an iPhone 15 Pro prior to getting my iPhone 16 pro. I went to sell it on Vinted and the buyer is claiming it doesn't fit, she resold it as an iPhone 14 Pro and also claims it doesn't fit. She has now claimed my case is "fake", despite it being purchased on the exact same day I collected my iPhone from O2. I do not have a receipt, email or any other documentation on what model it fits. I do remember being told when I bought it, that the iPhone 14 Pro case will also fit an iPhone 15 Pro. Can any help with how I'd go about identifying it? ChatGPT also back me up in saying it is either for a 14 or 15 Pro. She's also very reluctant to send me it back.

To identify the exact model of your old iPhone case, check for any model number printed inside the case, which can be searched online. Examine the camera cutout shape, number of lenses, and button placement, as these vary between iPhone models. Also, check the bottom cutout to determine if it’s for a Lightning or USB-C port. Measuring the case and comparing it to official iPhone dimensions helps narrow it down. Features like the presence of a MagSafe ring indicate newer models. If it’s branded, you can visit the brand’s website to visually match the case to a specific iPhone model.

As this case shows a white circular ring and a white vertical pill shape—that’s exactly the MagSafe magnet ring and the internal alignment magnet for accessories like wallet attachments. This pattern is standard on MagSafe-compatible cases, meaning the case is designed to work with MagSafe chargers, wallets, and grips.

AFAIK, Since the ring is clearly visible and there's no large camera-specific cutout, it's almost certainly compatible with a flat-glass launch like the iPhone 13 non-Pro, 14 non-Pro, or 15/15 Plus. The presence of the pill shape suggests alignment marks typical in these clear MagSafe cases. A case for iPhone Pro models would have a larger camera cutout to accommodate triple-lens systems.
