2 iphone 11's for 2 different countries. Having issues merging.

Hi, Not technical so having problems. So please bear with me.

I have some apps on my English phone i.e. whatsapp and the same on my Greek phone. My provider converted my greek sim to an e-sim which left a free slot for my English sim. So I only need to carry one phone instead of two. Photos, email etc share ok between the two. However, despite no sim card my Whatsapp on my English phone still takes messages (on wifi). I also have whatsapp for my greek number. So how do I move the English one across to the Greek phone but with the English number ;-o

Any suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.

iPhone 11, 18

You can't. And you wouldn't want to anyway.

WhatsApp does not work with 2 numbers on iPhone (Android only feature at this point), so you are going to be left with WhatsApp for only one number anyway on the new iPhone.

WhatsApp works over the internet, the lack of SIM card once it's been set up is irrelevant to it as long as it has an internet connection. With access to the internet it will get any messages sent to the WhatsApp account it has set up as it's not directly dependent on the number after setup.
