using apple tv and all streaming apps work fine except appletv app. it freezes to buffer and image quality is poor. This includes my library as well as appletv plus. internet speed is 800mb and i have reset apple tv and my router. what could the problem be?

Netflix, YouTube, Max, etc all stream just fine. Apple TV+ just buffers, buffers, and if it works at all, the image quality is very poor and it starts buffering after a few minutes.
Happening to me too. I’m using a Roku with the AppleTV app to stream AppleTV+. Other streaming services work fine and this happens on two different Rokus— one is wired and one is WiFi.
