How to check if recently purchased iPhone 16 Pro is slightly bent from the back side?

If you purchased directly from Apple, either through their retail stores of the Apple online store, you have a 14-day "no questions asked" return period. If you have doubts, return it.

However, if you bought any other way, including from a carrier or an Apple Authorized Reseller, that seller's return policy takes precedent.

To check for bending yourself, you need a know flat test surface. Oddly enough, they can be hard to find in many homes. I find solid-surface and granite countertops very effective flat test surfaces.
