Cryptexes - Spook or not?

Hi,

Pathway: System/cryptexes/App/Library/Google/Chrome/NativeMessagingHosts

The end of this pathway contains a file com.apple.passwordmanager.json

I don't use google at all and haven't since I purchased this MacBook Air. Just wondering if this file is legitimate?

Thanks

MacBook Air, macOS 15.5

com.apple.password manager.json is a file used by Apple's password management system, specifically within the context of shared web credentials. It maps App IDs to the domains that share the same credentials, enabling apps to access password information stored in iCloud Keychain for websites. This allows users to seamlessly access accounts across different apps and websites without re-entering their credentials.
