You can try a Forced Restart, but if it doesn't work, you'll need to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar as this may be an issue with the True Depth Camera on your iPhone --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Troubleshooting Face ID:

A. Turn Off Screen Time:

Perhaps managing it is blocked somehow in Screen Time?

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Screen Time
3. Tap: Turn Off Screen Time(so that it is greyed-out)
4. See if it is "highlighted"
