iPhone 11 Pro Max making calls and locking out during wireless charging

I wirelessly charged my iphone 11 pro max, and it called my dad multiple times during the night. It locked itself out for 8 hours, and now 3 hours later, the 8 hours is only down to 7hr 49 minutes. What is the issue here, and can I fix it without resetting my phone?

thank you, will do, but will the 8 hours ever end?

If you are experiencing “ghost touches”, unlikely. Eventually it will be Disabled or Unavailable and not even allow any more passcode attempts which would force you to erase the iPhone. Once you have the digitizer replaced at Apple, the timer should end allowing you to enter the passcode, assuming you do it soon enough.
