Microsoft Teams app not requesting camera or microphone access after iOS 18.5 update

Subject: iOS 18.5 – Microsoft Teams App Not Requesting Camera or Microphone Access

Message: Hi Apple Support,

Since updating my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 18.5, I’ve been unable to use the camera and microphone with the Microsoft Teams app. It previously worked fine under iOS 17.x. However, after updating, I no longer see Teams listed under the Camera or Microphone permissions in Settings > Privacy & Security. I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps:

• Deleted and reinstalled the app
• Restarted my device
• Checked Screen Time restrictions
• Confirmed that Camera and Microphone are enabled for other apps
• Tried joining a meeting in Teams immediately after reinstalling to trigger the permission requests

Despite all this, Teams still doesn’t appear in the permissions list and cannot access the camera or mic.

Could this be a known issue with iOS 18.5? I’d appreciate any guidance or workaround you can offer.
