20W USB C charger for the new MagSafe charger

The new MagSafe charger supports 25W charging when using a 30W or higher USB C charger.

I currently have a 20W USB C charger. Will my phone charge with 20W or 15W when using the new MagSafe charger?

The device is 16 Pro Max.

With your current 20 W charger → MagSafe delivers up to 15 W wireless.
Upgrade to a 30 W (or higher) charger → unlock the full 25 W wireless charging speed for your iPhone 16 Pro Max.

So yes, your phone will charge with your 20 W brick, but only at 15 W. To get the full 25 W benefit, Apple recommends using a 30 W or greater USB‑C adapter with the new MagSafe puck.

Max of 15W for 16 Pro Max even if it is capable of reaching a max of 25W when using a 30W USB C charger? Can't reach 16W to 20W when using a 20W USB C charger? Talking about MagSafe chargers.
