iStore claiming my AirPods Max are fake?

Counterfeit Apple products are all over. The counterfeiters use actual Apple serial numbers to con people into thinking they are real.

If you did not buy them directly from Apple or an authorized retailer, they are probably correct that they are not genuine.

Based on the way you worded your post, "I have all the information about when they were bought", it sounds like you were not the original purchaser... another red flag.
