What is using so much data under “General Services” on my iPhone 15 Pro?

My General services have taken me over my data limit twice this month. This has never happened before. I went to my provider who hasn’t a clue why it’s used 6gb of data. They said everything that’s normally data heavy is turned off. The only thing I’ve installed this month is nord vpn.

And you have your answer. VPN on iPhone is not only data intensive, it is COMPLETELY unnecessary. VPN's don't provide the security you think they do. Quite the opposite. DUMP the VPN and you'll likely see data use return to normal.

And.....that is the problem.

First, there is no reason at all to install a VPN on your phone unless your employer or school requires it.

Second, a VPN provides less.....not more.....security for your phone

Third, Nord will likely sell your personal information to other companies

Delete the VPN and your issues are solved.
