Yes, it’s safe, absolutely. You cannot overcharge your iPhone and you cannot burn it up by using a higher wattage charger. The wattage needed to charge an iPhone 16 Pro is only 25W wireless charging and 30W for wired charging. If you have a 140W charger the iPhone will only take what it needs and nothing more.
